Transportation with Assistance:
We are happy to announce that beginning in July, Volunteers for Seniors will provide rides in Brown County for a suggested donation of $1.25 for in town rides ($2.50 round trip) and $2.50 for in county rides ($5.00 round trip). As always, we encourage you to use Brown County Heartland Express whenever possible. However, there may be times when using Heartland isn't possible (you may need someone to assist you with errands or you may need a driver to wait for/with you. |
If you would like to take advantage of our Transportation with Assistance service (within Brown County only) you'll want to give us at least 24 hour notice so that we can schedule your ride with one of our volunteers. Following the month of service, you will receive a Transportation Summary listing your rides for the month and a suggested donation amount. We must rely on all who are able to make a donation to our Transportation with Assistance program.
If you have any questions or would like to schedule a ride, please give us a call at 507-794-3210. NOTE: If you have never received services from Volunteers for Seniors, some paperwork will need to be completed first. We look forward to serving you!
